The Michener Art Museum celebrates the unique connections between the arts and the business sector, at the Corporate Business Partners Program Annual Reception. A special benefit of membership in the Corporate Business Partners Program (CBPP), this signature event brings together over 200 guests to celebrate the region’s leading business supporters and their outstanding commitment to the arts. The evening begins with cocktails and light refreshments and culminates with the presentation of the 5th Annual Herman Silverman Cultural Leadership Award.

Celebrating the legacy of Museum co-founder and one of the CBPP’s earliest and most ardent advocates, Herman Silverman, the award is given “in recognition of exceptional dedication to the advancement of arts and culture at the Michener Art Museum by the Corporate Business Partners.”
The Rose Group was awarded the honor this year celebrating 12 consecutive years of sponsoring the School Visit Program that has provided free admission to more than 49,200 students. In 2018 alone the Michener Art Museum welcomed more than 2,900 visitors through the program. The School Visit Program pairs specially trained docents with small student groups to tour the museum and make connections between the art on display, the artists an the content being studied by the students in the classroom. The goal is to help students grow their creativity and strengthen connections between the visual arts, science, technology, art, engineering and math, history, geography and language arts.
