2015: The Rose Group named 2015 Franchisee of the Year by Applebee’s

Each year Dine Equity/Applebee’s recognizes the top performers in its network of 33 franchisees for their financial performance, operational excellence and community support. 

The Rose Group was named the top performer in a variety of financial, operational, and community-building categories.  This is the fourth time The Rose Group has received the Franchisee of the Year award; the group was the original recipient at the inaugural presentation in 1997.

“These award winners are the best of the best and demonstrate how we rely on our world-class franchisees and vendor partners to help us drive success,” said Applebee’s President Julia Stewart.  “I am proud to serve alongside these winners.”

In addition to this honor, The Rose Group’s Chief Operating Officer Bonnie Lippincott was named as Operator of the Year, winning the top individual award for her oversight of the company’s operational excellence.

“Bonnie has an incredible, selfless drive to succeed for Applebee’s, The Rose Group, and her team members,” said Stewart.  “She is an outstanding, hands-on, passionate operator.  Her restaurants are clean, well-maintained, growing sales and are a model of excellence.”

This event marked the first time in Applebee’s history that one franchisee was honored with both the Operator of the Year and Franchisee of the Year awards.

The Rose Group was also honored with a Restaurant Neighbor Award for the charitable impact they have achieved in their home state, a Guest Service recognition for consistently measuring in the top 5 franchisees in the country, and received the top honors out of all U.S. Applebee’s franchisees for Operations Excellence.
